Simply stated, a classroom is a room filled with educational opportunities, experiences and resources. When equipped with peers, learning materials, and knowledgable facilitators, this room becomes a classroom where learning can bloom and families can grow. It is a safe place where children learn new skills, practice what they have learned, & develop the mindset for seeking more knowledge & skills.

Our children learn in a variety of settings. Educationally, "home" applies to where children begin their day, and where they return to after a day of learning & growing with others. Home is a place where learning continues; a place where children feel safe to practice their skills. It is a place that is connected to the classroom & community.

We are sliding more & more from traditional communities, towards techmunities. Where we learn, how we learn, who we learn from, and how we practice and use our skills & talents is happening in ever-changing ways. How do we best create successful learning opportunities for children in a tech-heavy world?

Bright & Quirky kids are also called twice exceptional or 2e because both their high intellectual potential and brain-based challenges are two exceptions to the norm.
This unique brain wiring could make your child one of the greatest
contributors, thinkers or innovators of our time.
